Associate Professor Francine Girard

Dean, Faculty of Nursing Science, Université de Montréal, Dr. Girard was honoured to be appointed Chairperson of the Quebec Task Force on the Working Conditions of Nurses.

In her roles as first Vice-President and Director of Nursing for the Calgary Health Region, and as Senior Vice-President for Professional Practice and Research, she greatly influenced change towards a quality working environment, significant nursing retention and the promotion of research in the clinical milieu and in the area of health human resources.
